Dr. Sanan earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Minnesota and was chief resident in neurosurgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Sanan completed his fellowship at the University of Cincinnati in skull base and cerebrovascular surgery. Dr. Sanan is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is also Clinical Assistant Professor in both the Division of Neurosurgery and the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Arizona, University Medical Center. Dr. Sanan has been with the Center for Neurosciences since 1999.
