Doctorpedia's mission is to provide everyone with doctor-approved health information and resources.

During the height of the pandemic, over 25% of the most viewed YouTube videos on COVID-19 contained misleading information and top links on common diseases contained misinformation in 40% of cases.

To date, we have raised £2.5M from digital health investors to combat misinformation and disinformation and have become the world's largest network of over 2,000 medical websites. As a doctor-owned platform, we are leading the charge to provide credible and engaging health answers to millions of people.

We are now looking to expand our offering and invite you to join us as shareholders.

Many doctors have invested in Doctorpedia because they are passionate about combating online misinformation and disinformation.

Why is Doctorpedia crowdfunding?

crowdfunding
We have already raised £2.5M from angel and doctor investors but we want this to be a platform for everyone and allow more people to share in our success. The purpose of this crowdfunding campaign is to open up investment to individuals who want to shape the future of digital healthcare and help us deliver on our important patient-centric mission. This funding will help us advance key areas including sales & marketing, product development, and content creation.

What is Crowdcube?

crowdfunding

How do I make a return on my investment?

crowdfunding
A return is made if the business you have backed goes on to achieve an ‘exit’ (via a sale to another company or by floating on the stock market) at a higher value than when you invested - you make a profit from your investment. Just remember that investing in a startup business carries significant risks, including illiquidity, lack of dividends, loss of your investment and dilution.

Who can invest?

crowdfunding
You must be over 18 years old and legally entitled to invest. You’ll also need to be a resident of the UK or a country where you may legally receive financial promotions of the nature provided. See more details on the Crowdcube website. If you are a resident in the US or Canada, please contact us at contact@doctorpedia.com to find out more.
