Transcript

“Laryngopharyngeal reflux or LPR is a disorder that affects the throat and head neck structures from acid, either eaten or refluxed in digestive enzymes that can cause irritation and damage to many of the structures inside the throat. The typical symptoms of LPR are throat clearing, the feeling of a lump in the throat. A chronic cough, voice changes, some swallowing difficulties. The sensation of postnasal drip. Many of these symptoms can be caused by other diseases of the head and neck, such as allergies, sinus disease, asthma, and other lung problems, which often leads to confusion and delay of diagnosis. I’ve published extensively on this topic and am the leading expert in the region on the subject of LPR with advanced diagnostic and treatment approaches.

My diet based approach, which was published in the journal of the American Medical Association, one of our world’s most influential scientific journals, has been utilized in many places around the world to help people with reflux disease. My approach allows for resolution of symptoms of their reflux often without the commonly prescribed medication, such as proton pump inhibitors. If you or someone, you know, has any of the symptoms that I mentioned earlier that perhaps have been there for weeks, months, years, or even decades, I’m happy to see you in consultation to arrive at a diagnosis and help with a treatment regimen.”
