Endoscopic Spine Surgery – Minimally Invasive Surgery

Endoscopic spine surgery is different from more traditional minimally invasive spine surgeries in the sense that involves a different surgical approach. With all surgeries, the surgeon has to expose a part of the body to access the part that needs to be operated on. In traditional surgery, sometimes an incision might be several inches long in order to access that part of the spine. With some minimally invasive surgeries, we can reduce the size of the incision to an inch. Endoscopics takes it even one step further, where we can get to sizes as small as one centimeter or less.
