Seasonal allergies are also known as hay fever and allergic rhinitis. They happen when the immune system identifies various sources of pollen from your environment as a foreign invader that’s dangerous and goes haywire trying to defend itself. The symptoms may affect your daily activities at school or performance at work. Seasonal allergies can happen in any person, regardless of age, gender, or race.
