Molluscum is easily transmitted from objects that have come in contact with water that have been exposed to someone with the virus. Often the molluscum contagiosum virus collects on gym mats, waterslides, bath towels, jacuzzis… It’s often transmitted child to child in a family. For example, the two year old that shares the bath with the five-year-old will also get it as well.
