Well, for most people, a resting heart rate is around 60 to a hundred beats a minute. Someone with ventricular tachycardia experiences heart rates greater than a hundred beats a minute. Think about how feel after intense exercise. That’s how someone with ventricular tachycardia feels during an episode of VT. As you may know, your heart has four chambers. We call the top two chambers the atria and the bottom two chambers are called the ventricle. This condition occurs in the bottom two chambers of the heart, the ventricles.
