Treatments for osteoarthritis include physical therapy, anti-inflammatory and pain medication. There are many different types of injection therapies, including steroids, lubricant, stem cell platelet rich plasma, but when all else fails, there’s always the last option, which is a surgical intervention, a minimally invasive surgical intervention of replacing that joint. Once you replace the joint, it’s as if you have a brand new joint that can now last 20 to 30 more years.
