Victor Liou, MD is an oculofacial plastic (oculoplastic) surgeon that has developed a reputation as an excellent clinician and surgeon. He is known for his willingness to connect with patients and ability to explain complex medical conditions in understandable ways.

Dr. Liou was first introduced to medicine in high school while he was at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. He dedicated extensive time performing research and shadowing in clinics at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He then made the decision to join the Baccalaureate/MD program at Saint Louis University (SLU) where he gained conditional acceptance into medical school during his sophomore year of college. He graduated with a Distinction in Research from SLU and was also inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He then went to the Medical College of Wisconsin for a rigorous ophthalmology residency and served as Chief Resident his final year. He completed his education with an additional two-year ASOPRS-accredited fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Liou thoroughly enjoys being an educator, whether it is teaching students and residents that rotate through his clinic or giving presentations at the national level.
