A new study from researchers in the UK, Italy & Denmark has found that eating two apples per day can lower cholesterol in adults with mildly raised cholesterol.
In the study, 25 adults with mildly raised cholesterol were asked to take 2 apples per day and another 25 adults were asked to take a sugar matched energy drink for 4 weeks.
After a short washout period, the study participants switched over from apples to drinks and from drinks to apples for another 4 weeks.
