Dr. Schroeder earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed his internship in general surgery at the University of Michigan, where he also completed his residency in neurological surgery. Dr. Schroeder was a clinical fellow in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Schroeder is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He held the position of Chief of Neurosurgery (1989-1991) and Chief of Surgery (1992-1994) at Tucson Medical Center and is the Chief of Neurosurgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He has been with the Center for Neurosciences since 1993.
