The point at which a doctor becomes involved in the treatment of a pheochromocytoma can sometimes be delayed. And that’s really because they’re difficult to diagnose. It may come to the doctor’s attention because your high blood pressure is difficult to treat, or the patient might have a unique list of symptoms. That’s so unique to occasional bursts of adrenaline that the symptom complex sparks the doctor’s attention. That pheochromocytoma might be the cause.
