Dr. Avirup Guha is an American Heart Association-funded physician-scientist who has dedicated his clinical and research work to the field of disparities in cardio-oncology. He is the current director of cardio-oncology at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his cardiology fellowship at the Ohio State University. He is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardio-oncology. His research focuses specifically on disparities in cardiovascular outcomes in men with prostate cancer. He is passionate about community outreach and taking cardio-oncology to the masses.
