Mood Stabilization

Have you ever reacted so quickly to a difficult situation by giving into your emotions rather than giving yourself time to process them? With Breathe2Relax, you can identify why you react to certain feelings so quickly. Once you become more aware, you can then use the deep breathing exercises to better control how you respond rather than reacting with little thought.

 

Anger Control

Anger can be one of the hardest emotions to control, but it is also one that causes us to do things we usually regret later. You can leave those feelings of regret in the past by learning to control your anger with Breathe2Relax instead of allowing your anger to control you. The method of mindfulness through the app will teach you how to recognize spurious reasoning, misguided by anger, and how big a difference moments of diaphragmatic breathing exercises can make in your responses.

 

Anxiety Management

While many emotions may only manifest in your mind, anxiety is one of the few that can produce negative physical symptoms as well. To help avoid dangerous physical issues like panic attacks when anxiety strikes, Breathe2Relax will teach you the importance of performing controlled, deep breathing exercises.

This is a simple app, assisting you in deep breathing exercises to reduce your stress and anxiety. You are able to modify the inhalation and exhalation to your own breath lengths but that is the only personalization feature. There is a “learn section” which provides explanations of the effects of stress and breath work on the body but it is very basic. If you are looking to just hone your breathing skills, this could be a good option, just don’t expect much more.

I found this app very practical as it uses breathing to help me to can relax and have some much-needed mental peace. One thing I loved about this application is the many breathing techniques that I was not aware of before... one more step towards managing my stress, anger, anxiety, and avoiding depression.

I like the vibe and execution of this app. I think we generally take breathing for granted because its one of those things that keeps us alive - so its sooo easy to forget how managing breathing techniques can help with stress and anxiety. It was so interesting to watch a video on the importance of conscious breathing and actually teaching me how to do that and how to use it to relax. the login process is annoying though.

Pros

I like the simple layout. Everything is straightforward and you can access any feature without having to navigate so much. It gives you a chance to customize your experience by selecting your preferred scenery, backgrounf music and the length of your inhalation and exhalation during breathing exercises. It offers a helpful tip on how to deal with stress and always helps you keep track of your results.

Cons

Im not sure why signing in and having a password is necessary for practicing breathing exercises.

This is one of my favorite apps to de-stress. Love using the nature tree pictures while doing the inhale exhale - it is so relaxing and relieves my stress levels... I also love how I can monitor my stress level so I can be aware of it more keeping track. No idea why it needs a passcode though - it's not like it contains any private information!

This app has amazing meditation features. It teaches someone how to meditate... the music/sound makes my mind relaxed and calm - just like the name. I have always wanted to start meditation but I did not know how to go about it... This app has guided me through the process and given me some great tips and knowledge.

It also has stories to help you fall a sleep at night. It is a great guide through mediation.

Great for my anxiety. Breathe2Relax is a very professional and intelligent app that focuses purely on breathing techniques to stay healthier. The app offers the best insight into how to take the proper breaths, and includes exercises to get the most out of the practice. There is also plenty of learning material... You could also select scenery and background music that works best with you. It’s a very powerful guide to the right breathing.

Pros

It is effective because it centers on one aspect, as opposed to offering a bit of everything. The breathing exercise, that allows you to breathe in and out with the session, is very useful.

Cons

I kind of wish the app had a nice user interface. It’s very professional, and not very friendly in terms of colors and graphics.

This app is really helpful - it provides helpful guidelines on how we can use our normal breathing to make peace in our souls and minds as well. Good breathing is actually such an underrated technique... and breathe2relax has really taught me how important breathing can be in helping us find peace.

A great app. It really helps me breath and its easy to use. I'd definitely recommend it to stressed people it helps you calm down. I do think they could do more to the layout of the app make it more peaceful, but what the app is made for they do really good.

I can't recommend this app enough. Ever need a quick video reminding you and teaching you how to breath this is it! I always struggled with the how to breathe when I am stressed and I even let my duaghter join in.
