What is chlamydia trachomatis? Chlamydia trachomatis is also known as chlamydia and it is a sexually transmitted infection. So just like other sexually transmitted infections, it occurs through penal vaginal intercourse, anal intercourse, or even oral sex. And it occurs because of a touching of the mucus membranes. So how is chlamydia trachomatis spread? It’s spread through sex, and therefore to protect yourself, you would want to avoid touching of mucus membranes. And the way to do that would be to use a male condom or a female condom, to avoid more risky forms of sexual behavior, especially with multiple partners or with people that may have multiple partners. It’s really important to know your sexual partner and to know how many other partners your sexual partner has. And to be really safe, it would be great for your sexual partner to have had a clear sexually transmitted infection check. Any doctor can do that, or any clinic, to make sure that there are no sexually transmitted infections and for you yourself to have a clean slate as well.
