As a strong acne fighter, isotretinoin is a miracle drug. That’s because it reduces the amount of oil your skin produces. This naturally occurring oil is called sebum. Isotretinoin makes the oil less sticky, while permanently shrinking the salacious oil glands that produce it. It also reduces dead skin cells called keratin, which can build up and clog pores. It also has antibacterial properties. Because it attacks all the different causes all at once, it’s a miraculous product.
