So your primary contact once you step up to donate will be your living donor coordinator. You’ll also be assigned a living donor advocate and both will make themselves available throughout the process. But also at every step, you will be cared for by a multidisciplinary team that involves a transplant surgeon, a transplant nephrologist, a transplant pharmacist, your coordinator, a social worker, a dietician, and many more, and everybody will make sure that you have good comprehension of the process and that you’re well surrounded and well supported.
