Regarding the testosterone and hair loss. In fact, a subtype of testosterone called dihydrotestosterone, abbreviated DHT, is in fact at work in the reduction of hair production and maintenance. Male pattern baldness is when someone has a susceptibility to DHT. And this was genetically arrived at. So low testosterone has nothing to do with hair loss, whereas maybe the opposite high testosterone and more specifically high DHT can provoke hair loss.
