The way we approach myopia is different than it was even five years ago. We do not let children just get worse and progress in their myopia. We have treatments available to slow down or stop the progression of myopia. The most available treatments is soft daily multifocal contact lens, it’s called MiSight, and it’s FDA approved. We also use Ortho-K lenses for myopia correction and myopia management, and also atropine drops. Those are the three ways to slow down or stop myopia progression in children.
