Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic autoimmune condition that can affect any part of your body. The most common joints are your hands, your wrists, your feet, your knees, even your jaw. However, any part of your body could be affected by this disease. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease. And this is where your immune system that’s responsible for defending you decides that you are the bad guy and basically turns on you and starts attacking your joints, thinking that it needs to defend you from you. And unfortunately it destroys joints and other parts of your body.
