There’s a lot of factors that go into the success of a vasectomy reversal. One of the big ones is timing. So if the time from your initial vasectomy to vasectomy reversal is less than 10 years, I generally say you have a 95% to 99% success rate. If it’s more than 10 years, those numbers go down. The other component that goes into success of a vasectomy reversal is complications associated with the vasectomy. Sometimes there’s post-vasectomy infections that could decrease success rates of the vasectomy reversal.
