Vertigo – Symptoms

Vertigo is characterized by this sensation of spinning around or that your environment is moving. Patients may also experience nausea or even vomiting. Often they’ll describe this sense of falling to one side as well. And then as an audiologist, the thing that I look for is something called nystagmus. And nystagmus is when there is a beat to the eye and that’s a telltale characteristic of vertigo.
